Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East, wants to hear from you about the possible closure of Wednesfield Police Station. Emma sais, “I am working with your local Labour councillors to make sure you know about plans to close Wednesfield Police Station and to give you an opportunity to have your say.

“West Midlands Police are struggling. They have already lost over 2,000 police officers and their budget has been slashed by the Tory government.

“One suggestion to save money is to close some police stations and one of those is our local station in Wednesfield. It is tough for West Midlands Police and they have difficult decisions to make. At a time when crime is rising is this the right thing to do?

“The consultation period is very short but we wanted to make sure that you could easily have your say on this important issue.

“In addition to a survey I have produced and is being delivered, you can fill in my online survey on the plans here: https://goo.gl/forms/YASBb7Cp1ByWKyrO2

Your opinion will help inform the decision making process and it is vital that as many people as possible have their say.
