Our Lady and St Chad Sports College celebrate their annual awards evening

Our Lady and St Chad

Last night, Our lady and St Chad Catholic Sports College in Fallings Park held their annual prize giving and awards evening. The event was a celebration of a wide range of achievements across all year groups. The names of the awards have a rich history, honouring past teachers and students. Also present was Olympic rower Guin Batten who won a silver medal at the 2000 games in Sydney.

Emma said I was delighted to attend the annual presentation evening at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Sports College and to present well-deserved prizes and awards to the students. I was very impressed by what they have achieved. Special mention must also be made of the performing arts students who kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.

“I gave a speech highlighting the many successes of the school and underlined the role of sports driving aspiration. I also warmly congratulated all the young people for their achievements and also the staff for their role in the schools success.”
