Emma Reynolds, Labour Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East, has welcomed the opening of the new Wolverhampton LGBT shop on School Street in the city centre. The shop aims to raise money for LGBT causes and increase awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues in Wolverhampton.

Martha Bishop, Chief Executive of LGBT Wolverhampton, said:

“It was a pleasure to invite Emma to visit our new charity shop in Wolverhampton. I am delighted that all three Wolverhampton MPs have now visited the shop, and shown their support for LGBT issues in the city.”

Emma said:

“I was delighted to visit the new Wolverhampton LGBT charity shop. I wish them every success in their fundraising for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues. I have been standing up for LGBT causes since I was elected in 2010, including my support for equal marriage, and attending the Wolverhampton Pride celebrations.”

“I would like to thank Martha Bishop and her team for all they are doing to promote equality causes in the city.”
