Emma Reynolds, Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East, has marked National Apprenticeship Week by visiting UTC Aerospace on Friday 18 March to meet with some of the local apprentices at the firm. National Apprenticeship Week is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy. Emma met apprentices employed at UTC to learn about their experiences on the scheme and discuss their future aspirations after they finish their apprenticeship.

Emma said “I was delighted to visit UTC to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week. I enjoyed seeing at first-hand the work the apprentices do, and the contribution they make to the company. Apprenticeships provide young people with valuable skills, and this training cannot be replicated within a classroom.”
