Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East, marked National Apprenticeship Week by asking the Prime Minister about the fall in apprentices at PMQs on Wednesday. Emma said, “Given this week is National Apprenticeship Week, I thought it important to challenge the Government on the fall in numbers.

“I asked the a PM simple question at PMQs on Wednesday, why has there been a 60% drop in apprenticeships?

“There was no explanation from her. The roll out of apprenticeship levy hasn’t gone well and the Government needs to sort it out urgently.

Companies in my constituency are doing some great work with apprentices but this is frankly in spite of this Government who are hampering them by their inaction.
