Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East has questioned the government over affordable rents and the lack of affordable social housing. Emma said, ”This government is failing to build enough homes at prices that people on ordinary incomes can afford.

“Yesterday I called on the government to get a grip and start building more council homes for social rent. Labour councils like Wolverhampton City Council are doing what they can but they are prevented from doing more because of this government’s refusal to fund social housing.”

Are you concerned about he affordability of rents and the lack of affordable social housing? I want to hear from you. Email me at: emma.reynolds.mp@parliament.uk
