Emma issues Easter message to local churches and faith groups
Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East, has issued an Easter message in which she thanks Wolverhampton’s churches for the significant contribution they make to our city. Emma said “I want to wish everyone in Wolverhampton a very happy and peaceful Easter. As Christians across Great Britain and the rest of the world gather to celebrate the most important event in the Christian faith, I want to pay tribute to the enormous contribution that our local churches make to our city.
“Through simple acts of kindness and compassion, serving and supporting people in need, and by bringing communities together they make a real difference.
“Wolverhampton’s churches support charities, soup kitchens for the homeless and fair trade stores. They also help to provide youth clubs, support Scout and Guide troops and are involved in many other important local groups.”
What are your plans for Easter and what does it mean to you and your family, I want to hear from you.
