Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East wants people to help commemorate Armed Forces Day. Commemorations take place on Saturday 30 June, 2018 across the country, giving people the chance to pay tribute to serving troops, veterans, cadets and their families. Emma says, “People across Wolverhampton and further afield will be able to attend a range of events marking Armed Forces Day and I would encourage as many people as possible to find out where their nearest event is and go along to help mark the occasion.

“Such a huge debt is owed by us all to our brave service men and women and I hope that by us attending commemoration events, we can show them how much they are valued and that the many sacrifices over many years will never be forgotten.

You can find out more about Armed Forces Day, including where events will be held here: https://www.armedforcesday.org.uk/

People will also be encouraged to show their support for the Armed Forces through the #saluteourforces social media campaign.
