General Election night

Emma has done various media interviews since being elected on 6 May 2010. Here she is pictured being interviewed on Midlands Today at the election count at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Since then she has appeared on their daily bulletin on two different occasions.

Emma appeared on Newsnight this week and was interviewed on the BBC Politics show on Sunday 13 June.

Emma has also been interviewed live on Sky News and BBC News following the Queen’s Speech on Tuesday 25 May. Emma spoke of the challenges facing the new Parliament and of her desire to be challenging but constructive in opposition. She has been on BBC Radio WM on various programmes in the last few weeks.

On the day of her Maiden Speech, she appeared on BBC News to discuss Prime Minister's Questions.
