Emma Reynolds, Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East, has chosen the winner for her annual Christmas Card competition. The winner was chosen with the Right Worshipful Mayor and Mayoress of Wolverhampton, Councillors Ian and Paula Brookfield. All the entries came from local schoolchildren, and in total 5 local schools took part. The winner was Karina Cheema from St Paul’s CoE Primary School, Pendeford. Her design has been made into 700 christmas cards which Emma sent this year to local residents, Councillors, other MPs  among others. the degigns by 5 other runners up feature on the reverse of the card.

Emma said “The entries I receive in my annual Christmas card competition are always of an excellent standard. This year it was very tough to choose from such a wonderful selection of designs, but I think Karina’s drawing successfully combines politics and Christmas to make an excellent card.”
