Emma attends Coeliac UK Reception
Emma Reynolds MP was pleased to attend the Coeliac UK Parliamentary Reception this week.
Emma is pictured above alongside Dr Chris Steele MBE, Phil Vickery and Coeliac UK Volunteer Ambassador Janet Foster.
Janet is the first of Emma’s constituents to visit her at Parliament and for a very good cause.Coeliac UK is the leading charity working for people with Coeliac and Dermatitis Herpetiformis (DH) in the UK.Coeliac is an often misunderstood condition which prevents people from eating any gluten-based foods (such as bread).
Emma said ‘Today’s event was really useful and I learned a great deal about some of the difficulties Coeliac suffers have to go through each day.Raising awareness with events is extremely valuable and I will continue working with Janet and the group in Wolverhampton to push forward for further improvements to help Coeliac sufferers.’
